“I had my first child in 2016 and it was a harrowing experience, as nature has it sometimes, but one I decided would not stop me from trying to have other children, if I wanted to.
Pregnant with my second child in 2019, the pain in my back was so severe I thought I was miscarrying. My doctor suggested physio therapy, and so I started seeing Katia at Therapeos.
It turned out to be one of the kindest presents I could give my pregnant self.

My back was noticeably better already after one session, but it was more than that: I had found a friendly support for all the questions I am not inclined to share in a big pre-natal group, a professional with a holistic view of my health, a woman who did not judge my fears as a mother.
When speaking with friends in other countries, and comparing birth experiences, I often mention how ad hoc physio therapy made my second pregnancy and postpartum so much better: there’s not the same awareness around this everywhere, and I am very grateful I got to experience this in Belgium”.
